Before the heart of truth, there is no need for words.
At 8 years old, her hometown of Ohara was burnt to the ground in a Buster Call of the World Government. As the only survivor, and the last remaining person able to read the ponegylphs, she is wanted for 79 Million Berli until she escapes from Water 7 with the Strawhats, which raises it to 80 Million. Her life has been cursed, running from one group of pirates to the next, trying to find a home long enough before she has to run from the government. They called her a devil, which drove her to her limits after 20 years. Now as an archaeologist and a permanent member of the Strawhat pirate crew, she lives her days in peace reading and enjoying time with her friends. She ate the Hana Hana Fruit, allowing her to sprout parts of her body anywhere.
